Dear artist the committee si requesting the artist to project open air installations. Once received, the projects will receive a first evaluation form the jury, basically under an aestethic point of view and respect of the proposed theme. Therefore, the remaining project will have to face a feasibility phase, in which the artist and the committee will actively cooperate. In this phase, normally all aspects on fire and water proofing (plus staticity and public safety) are closely defined. All projects realized in the past years were water and fire proofed. As a standard, we invite all artist to project without limits, following their sensibility inspiration and creativity. The contest in Cartasia has always been for open air exhibits: this is the phylosphy of the projects. To invade public space and have the audience meet the contemporary art, without entering an indoor space. Therefore all projects for the contest will have to face a feasibility phase, where the installations/sculptures will be analyzed under a tecnical point of view. In case of need, do not hesitate to contact us (
