Oriental Shades, Oriental Dance Performance by Onirika Dance Company

Sunday 11 July at 18: 30 in Fondazione Giuseppe Lazzareschi in Porcari (Lucca) takes place the performance of Oriental Dance : Creatures in Light and Air - Oriental Shades, curated by Onirika's Dance Company.
The event is organized by Cartasia 2010, with the contribution of the Fondazione Giuseppe Lazzareschi.
In the beautiful frame of the exhibition "Catching Light and Air", four shapes-bodies take life and will animate the enchanted world and lightweight sculpture Hiroaki Asahara.
Onirika's Dance Company has performed at the Japan Palace, as the only dance group, in the Edition 2009 of Lucca Comics and Games.

Onirika's  Dance Company

 The style of work is inspired by the Onirika's profile celebrities of the past as Ruth St. Denis and Loie Fuller, with the use of ethnic dances and ancient Raqs Sharqi and United to the Tribal American dream to create visions and ancestral. Dance as theatrically, evocative expression primordial. Onirika's profile creates each time space-time paths that lead in atmospheres of another place, another era.


Rossella Lazzari

RossellaLazzari studied Oriental Dance since 1999 with world renowned masters. He holds The level of teaching method of maestro Saad Ismail (Egyptian artistic dance). Since 2005 is dedicated for American Tribal Style (modern form of dance Oriental arising from ethnic dances) studying with American and Italian leaders in the sector (Les Soeurs Tribales Salimpour, s., r. Brice, h. Stants, Fr. Rees Denis). Over the years he followed studies on various disciplines: Rom dances, jazz, flamenco, tango argentino, Caribbean dances and southern Italy (pizzica salentine-school p. Gala), European medieval and Renaissance dances, theatrical propaedeutic and Barata Natyam. The far East, is inspired by dance Buyo (traditional) of groups like Tomatocompany and Sakura Japanese Dance and Manjushaka (modern dance and fusion).
